At the Battlefield Hobbies event last month (where Ste the Squire came second behind me) we met Matt, whom Andy and Elliot faced over the day, and in chatting he isn't a million miles away so he travelled up to mine from sunny Shrewsbury for a battle. being relatively new to the game he, wanted to face off against Martells, in A Feast of Crows.
While it's on my mind, Battlefield Hobbies have an ASOIF event Saturday 31st August.

TURN 1
I chose sides and Matt let me go first. I took the letters, weakening the Tully Cavaliers. Matt took the Horses, moving up his Sworn Swords close to the stakes so took the Swords to deny it. The tactics board finished with Arya on the crown, targeting my left side Spearmen.
I passed the morale check easily enough
I moved up across the Board, while the Tully's destroyed the palisades for easier movement. Shaggydog redeployed to left for the objective.

I poisoned the Swords zone start of round and Arya took the Letters. I moved my Spearmen onto the right objective, as much because Ste had said I would leave that to last but also to try and tempt a Tully charge. Matt took the bags to remove the weakened token from turn 1.
I hummed and haa'd for a minute or ten, before I charged into the Umbers with the Dune Vypers. Matt played Set for Charge but lost two of his own due to counterstrike and some poor dice. I lost three Vypers but passed the panic check.
My attacks cut down a further five, but two healed when they passed their panic check.
The Umbers attacked back, killing two of my Vypers due to being weakened, and lost three of their own to my counterstrike. Matt then retreated out with an Arya token...
I had Arianne take the horses, influencing the Tully Cavaliers
This allowed my Sand Skirmishers to move, triggering the Crannogs Hidden traps and killing one of my Skirmishers
My shooting after moving allowed me to drop four Crannogs, who in turn shot a few of my Vypers.
My Skirmishers shot down another rank of Crannogs from the Swords before a Swift reposition allowed the Sworn Swords to back away from the stakes and then successfully charge home, killing five.
I activated the Skirmishers, retreating away to leave room for someone else to charge them???
With Ste giving some advice, rather than activate Shaggydog and take the objective on the left, Matt activated his Cavaliers and smacked into the flank of my Vypers, obliterating them and turning to face the Royal Guard. The corpse pile formed in my line. Ste's advice was sound, as I could have shifted my Spearmen on the left and potentially take out the wolf...
But I used Cunning ploy allowing my Royal Guard to maneuver into the Tully's flank and letting my Spearmen hold...
Shaggydog took the right objective and I charged in with Oberyn and his Royal Guard, sadly rolling a 1 but I could still use my Martial Prowess...
With the vulnerable token, I still only managed to do four wounds but did use the Manticore Venom on them...

With two Stark units down to a single rank, the Tully's unable to heal and me having first activation, I was in decent position despite being behind.
TURN 3
Arya's second token was spent moving up the Umbers, but it didn't deter me and I took the Swords with Arianne, having Oberyn's Sunspear Royal Guard attack with Martial Prowess too
The vulnerable token allowed me to cause five wounds, and brought the unit down to a single horse.
Start of Matt's turn, I used the Spearmens order to shift the Sand Skirmishers over
Matt then charged the Spearmen over the stakes, which did three wounds on the Sworn Swords, and took two more from my Set for Charge. I lost a solo Spearman.
I took three hits and wounds from the Winterfell Guardian but used my Shieldwall order to block them. My Sand Skirmishers failed to finish off the pesky Stark but left him on one wound.
Matt looked to used the bags to heal the Umbers, but I used intercept orders to cancel that so he healed the Crannogmen. I then took the Letters, weakening the Umbers. Matt had Arya take the Horses with a view to retreat the Tully Cavaliers but I played a second Intercept ordersto deny that.
Matt then used the Horses on the Sworn Swords and played Assault Orders, taking five wounds before attacking
This reduced the efficiency of the attack and I only dropped three spearmen
I activated my Spearmen, shifting over and attacking, causing three hits and finishing the Sworn Swords off.
After I finished off the Tully Cavaliers, the Umbers charged into the Royal Guard using Winter is Coming for maximum attacks and cutting them down to five.

With Shaggydog and the Crannogs out the way on my left, if I could finish off the Umbers, Matt would be done for. Alas, Matt was first and if he did for Oberyn and his Guard, he could pull off the win

Matt had Arya take the Swords, removing both Unbowed, Unbent and Unbroken and Rising Temperatures, while having the Umbers attack.
Being Vulnerable and probably only being able to block one hit may not be enough...
Oooooh...
Well...
As I said, Matt is relatively new to the game , and to me, so I didn't laugh too much at his dice rolls!!!
I struck back with seven attacks, killing two Umbers with Precision...
Rickon and Osha fell to the other blows...
And I consolidated back onto the objective, allowing us to activate out Turn 5 & 6 as I had no inclination to chase additional VP's and Matt didn't see any hope in coming for me.

That was a cracking, tight game. Dropping the Starks down to a single rank on two units, and the Cunning ploy to flank the Tully Cavaliers and Manticore them allowed me to gain a slight edge but a key factor was Matts poor dice, not just the four 1's at end but the Set for Charge when I hit his Umbers with Dune Vypers. And Syrio Forel's Sworn Swords lacked his training for sure. Still, a close game and Matt did well given facing an unknown tricksy army in a new scenario for him.
