Stephen "PsychoSte" Connor, one of the UK's trio of Invitational rankers, popped over to mine as he wanted to get a game in against the Brotherhood without Banners ahead of the event...
With this in mind, Ste wanted me to build a few tough lists, and I ended up running this.

ROUND 1
Steve took the first turn and took the Letters, weakening the Archers, whom I then advanced from the Horses. Sansa took the bags and went fishing for a card, so I had Jaqen take the Crown and panic the Archers.
Good start, with three bowmen dying...
Ste held back a bit as my Archers were unactivated, despite being 8" up from the Horse and their Deceitful Reposition order...
ROUND 2
With Steve being a bit non-commital, I took the letters, and Ste healed the bowmen. So I took the Crowns and tried again on the Stormcrows...
But they passed??? Didn't realise Stormcrows morale had been lowered to six.
I made the first move, using Thoros on the Swords to get the Archers to shoot
Without even expending the weakened, I scored three hits and three wounds
And despite Lyanna, they lost a further model to a failed panic
The Bowmen returned fire scoring seven hits
I saved two but also easily passed the panic check
I then activated the Archers, "Taking up the Sword" to heal two
This got Ste to wrinkle his shiny brow while deciding on what he should do next...
Ste eventually figured it out and charged the Golden Company with the Tully Cavaliers
We discussed it at length, as to whether Winter is coming could be cancelled by Knights of Hollow Hill We agreed it would, but then I failed the Morale anyway
But I had the crowns and Gendry who used resilience, so I didn't activate my Adaptive style defence, although I lost 4 straight away from Berserker tactics
But I saved quite well despite the vulnerable...
and only lost three additional
Ste popped Tycho Nestoris to heal his Tully's and also two bowmen
I activated my Sword Knights an charged the flank of the Tully's (the bear rider card represents Jaqen influence)
The requisite blurry picture!!! The Knights rolled well but so did the Tully armour and they passed the morale. Greatjon and his Mormonts charged the Knights flank...
I lost a single Knight before I activated the Highgarden Riders and flanked the Tully's
Who would have thought the Tully's would have been at the centre of such a kerfuffle???
The Stormcrows charged into the flank of the Riders cutting down a rank
But I did pass the panic...
I played Sudden Retreat to move back onto the right objective, but required a 3+ to escape and rolled a two...

Only the Archers and Bowmen were unengaged
ROUND 3
Activating first, Ste took the Swords, attacking with the Tully Cavaliers but played the Berserker tactics to finish off the Golden company.
I activated my Sworn Knight who attacked the Tully's flank, wiping them out.
With a token on the Stormcrows, they attacked my Riders from the bags scoring eight hits!!!
I made half the saves on sixes, then passed the panic check!!!
I then took Thoros on Horses, and healed the Riders back the four wounds suffered
Ste elected to activate his bowmen, who cut five Archers down
with the failed the panic check accounting for three more...
Ste played Assault Orders when Tycho took the letters
having his Stormcrows attack again...
He scored five wounds and I passed the panic, so he had to activate the unit and easily took the last wound!!!
My Archers dropped five Mercs with shooting, and the She-Bears dropped my Knights to a single rank

STARKS 4 VP's (2 units, 2 objectives)
BROTHERHOOD 1 VP (1 unit)
ROUND 4
I had the Hag take the Bag and heal my archers but Ste took the Swords and shot down those I'd healed
I then spent a token off the Knights from But The Realm Remains to heal and then attacked the Mormonts, killing five
My archers lost two more men from the Bowmen shooting them
But Thoros changed the zone and healed them back up
That didn't really help as Ste kicked up a gear, charging in with the Stormcrows, only losing two men to Horrific visage and playing Devastating Impact and Winter is Coming. The Archers died...
The Sworn Knights got hurt bad due to Berserker tactics but held on playing Lash out and taking out the Greatjon!!!

Nothing much to see in Round 5, as Ste took the Swords, shifted back, and shot down my last remaining Sworn Knight...

A comfortable win for Ste, but I didn't get Vengeance in Blood or Regroup and Reform out to play. As usual, Ste was better at tactics board control than I, and his card play is flawless (helped by Sansa of course). I did drop his hardest two units, but his Bowmen outshot mine, probably because I was helping out in trying to kill the hated Tully's. Still, wont be facing Ste at the Invitational (ok, not on Day 1 😜)
